As 2024 comes to an end, we at Runergy Alabama are proud to reflect on a year of milestones and growth that have laid the foundation for a promising 2025. This has been a year of hard work, collaboration, and innovation, and we are excited to share the highlights of what we’ve accomplished together.
Building Foundations and Partnerships
The year began with our Huntsville facility in its final stages of construction, a project that brought together a dedicated team working tirelessly to turn our vision into reality. By mid-year, we were laying the groundwork for impactful partnerships. We connected with local colleges to promote education in renewable energy and delivered presentations to high schools, inspiring students to consider careers in solar manufacturing. These efforts reflect our commitment to investing in the next generation of solar innovators.
Celebrating Our Customers and Community
In April, we hosted our inaugural Customer Appreciation Event at our Huntsville facility. This included a signing ceremony with our first customers, a moment that signified the beginning of strong and lasting partnerships. Throughout the year, we also deepened our engagement with the local Huntsville community by participating in events and initiatives, showing our dedication to being an active corporate citizen.
Launching Operations
By the third quarter, we had completed permitting and were ready to bring our Huntsville facility to life. In October, we launched 24/7 operations, marking the start of production for high-efficiency solar modules. The transition to around-the-clock production was a major milestone that set the stage for the successes to come.
Achieving Production Excellence
Around mid. Dec, in just 60 days after starting 24/7 operations, we achieved an incredible production rate of 3000 modules per day per line, equaling 1.8 MW of solar capacity daily. With a module throughput of just 29 seconds, this remarkable efficiency reflects the innovation and dedication of our team.
Shipping Our First Modules
November saw another major achievement: the shipment of our first containers of solar modules to customers. This milestone represented more than just a logistical success—it was a testament to the hard work of our employees and a key step in delivering clean energy solutions to the market.
