Business development manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Expand and support partnerships and cooperation for Runergy
  • Develop trusted relationships with existing and potential customers
  • Acquisition of new projects, customers, negotiate new cooperation from lead generation to the final deal
  • Interact and influence market stakeholders
  • Create market and competition analyses as well as business plans to determine market and partner potential
  • Review and assess local policies
  • Attend and speak on national and international events, exhibition, and other activities, promote the company brand and the increase brand recognition on the market
  • Represent the company as speaker in front of the clients
  • Gather customers’ needs on products and services
  • Business travel to visit existing and potential clients
  • Work collaboratively with the sales managers to ensure new clients are onboarded successfully
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams such as marketing, technical service, legal, finance and operation management, etc. to ensure smooth customer onboarding


  • Minimum 3 years business development experience in renewable energy industry is required
  • Excellent client communication and presentation skills
  • Enthusiastic team player with good communication skills
  • Able to travel and represent the company in various commercial engagements
  • Proven and consistent track record of new business development
  • Competency in office software tools
